Hey guys, I'm new to the board, and damn impressed with so much of the talent I see here!

Here is my most recent artwork...a mock movie poster for RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, based on the Drew Struzan/Charles White III STAR WARS "circus style" poster.

Painting was done in oils, and took me over a month. Let me know your thoughts.

Suprised this hasn't had a response, as I think it's a really impressive piece of work. A lovely homage to a living legend (Struzan, not Indy ;))

I really like the approach of the billboard you took with this, you got some extra mileage out of Indy's dad there ;) I'm not a die-hard fan of the movies so I can't really contest the likeness of the actors but my nit to pick would be the digital treatment of the text. I know it would have been a pain to paint all that content so I understand why you went digital, but it's just not integrated with the feel of the painted piece. Try some texture overlays, dab at it with a very low opacity eraser to create the look of wear or light... just that extra mile to pull it all together :)
