While we're at it, I'd like to know what happened to Smellybug. I don't see his thumbnail at the top anymore, and I noticed in his tutorial thread in 3D & Sculpture (http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=18287) that his account has been removed.

Absolutely no idea, sorry!!
But its a good idea to post this kinda question here, hope it spares the lounge alot o'tiny thread creation.
I renamed the thead.

He goes by his real name now- Peter Konig.
there were also two smellybug accounts, the older ones look as if the account was deleted or whatever.
so smellybug became Smellybug became Peter Konig

I thought account deletion was no longer possible??

It was done quite a while ago or it wasn'r really deleted; whatever. I may not have the details down exactly but they're irrelevant in this case. The person just began posting under a new name.

Thank you Craig D, it's good to know. Real names are better anyway, in my opinion. It's just cleaner, more direct. Your work gets credited to your real name, people address that work, skill and style to you, not to a handle. And on the 'security' thing, people who want to hunt you down or are that obsessed with you will know your real name anyway.
I see the 'switching to real name' trend happening more and more, for some reason.

How come don't bananas have bones?

Living high in soft plants, they don't have access to anything but bones that are appropriate to build banana chairs and tables out of. Would you want your grandma eating off the floor?

Are you insinuating that bananas are cannibals?

Of course not! They hug a lot and the bones just kinda squirt out...

but if they can't access suitable building materials to construct tables to eat off, how can they access food? other than themselves, which unless ive misunderstood the meaning of cannibalism, is cannibalism!

You never heard of Pizza Hut and Taco Bell? I always get pissed off because I always end up in the line behind some banana paying in all pennies...
