My friend Jen hung out and painted with me tonight, she painted an abstract composition and I painted my portrait on top of it. Jen is the figure behind me, I tried to paint her like she was a memory.

this was Jen's painting, I used free asociation to discover objective shapes from across the room.

I concur with the others, this portrait is unique in that it's the first I've seen (the first on your thread?) to include another person. Very nice and I think you're idea has been communicated well. Nice to have a friend backin' you up!

I saw this.. said sweet! to myself and then I found I was wearing a big damn smile. The smile is still on my face. I love this one! I'm not ashamed to say it! I love it!
