Very nice. You've got the colouring perfect. Two crits i have though:

I love the character in the first picture but something bothers me about his sword. I think a bit more work making the edges of the blade cleaner would sort this.

In the second picture where the girls hair is blowing out from behind her you change from realistic strands to the straight comic book style. In my opinion it would look better if you chose one style for all the hair.

I hope this helps. Good job though. Im looking forward to seeing more.

That`s not the way you hold a sword though....

....unless your trying to cut your chicken.

Place one hand near the back of the handle, I think that`ll look a bit better.

this reminds me of anime styled art, which i usually don't go for. most of the anime-ish stuff i see isn't as polished and nice as this though. good stuff. is it colored in photoshop, painter or otherwise?

I noticed the change of styles on the hair also, but I found it kind of stylish. Beautiful peices, both of them.
Also, do you have a website where I could enjoy more of your work?

nice work, once again. got a few crits though.. . .the anatomy on the second pic bothers me. the shoulders and arms are out of proportion (forearms are short and arms are short in general.. .shoulders are huge and dont connect properly to the breasts). the legs are large and too long (works if its a stylistic thing though), and i think some of the values are off slightly on the stomach. hope this helps some

also, deviantart is a bad place to host your work. once they find out that you are posting the images here, they will block all the links and you will have to move to another site (this is what happened to me and a few other artists on this board)
