I'm beginning work on my AP art portfolio this year. I feel that my best subject for my concentration portfolio is go with portraits because they are undoubtedly my strongest point. However, I'm not good enough to draw a really good portrait without using a picture taken by myself and a grid... A method which I dislike for its unoriginality and plain-ness.
So, in order to make it maybe alittle more unique, I was thinking about taking several pictures of myself (i have no volunteer models :( ) and combining them into a single picture, making all the faces fade out, almost like movie covers. This way, I can use the grid to make the faces extremely accurate and well depicted, while still making a very original and unique work.
Anyways, I'm not really sure how to cut out the photos and combine them all into one. So, any help would reaaaaly be appreciated. I've already gotten a really late start on this project, so the quicker the better!!! thanks
