photoshop freezed

hi,

i need help quickly! my photoshop just freezed...can i do anything to save my image is there a backup after i close the programm or before it does it by it self?

sometimes when my photoshop freezes, (not happened in a long time but) I do the following manip.

ctrl-alt-supr > processus (In french, but I don't Know how it is named in english) >right click photoshop > priority > high
sometimes it gives a boost to the software and you can go on using it, save your work and turn off the software (as well as your computer, give it a rest).

edit: and no, photoshop doesnt do backups

In English it is Right Click > Set Priority > High

That's a good suggestion. I need to try that the next time my stuff freezes. Or when I'm running TV at the same time as working and it sometimes makes things lag... like last night.
