that's really nice, I thought you were posting a photo of a model for split second... the glass in the visor could use a tiny bit of love, the rest looks so well defined that it distracts attention.
nice!

Wow man, I don't usually like humanoid mechs, but I dig this one. Very cool.

good grief. the background rocks. not overdoing it, certainly not distracting from the mech. just right.
a couple of the highlights are a *bit* strong, but it's not overly distracting.
i like it. rock.

hey gents,
thanks for the feedback, as always! here're some specific responses...
cotron - oy, tell me about it...that friggin' visor was and is the bane of my existence on this piece...just couldn't quite get it to work, but i like the way it resolved...and frankly, i simply had to put this one to bed. i'll do some more studying of those kinds of surfaces, and see what kinda magic i can do in the future.
and as for the rest of ya...thanks again, everyone! your feedback means more than you know.
hopefully i have some more stuff in the coming days, but for now, deadlines are calling...
thanks again!

I think what I like the most about this piece is that the mech is not your standard design. It is exagerrated and almost worn looking versus the super shiny, high-tech death machines we see all over the place.
I love the fact that we can see the parts in the arms. Great work.
