Hi guys! This is my very first thread here, and I hope I'm doing everything right. All I'd like to do is show all of you some sketches that I was sketching around with. Also, I'd love to read what you all think of it as well... as my "status" suggests, my primary interest isn't necessarily graphic art as much as filmmaking. But that still doesn't mean I LOVE doing it! :D 8)
so to start out... being inspired by the "Creature of the Week" thread... I decided to draw my own strange demonic being today (May 7). I was thinking of a remake of "Manos: The Hands of Fate", the worst movie of all time... but this time remaking it to look GOOD!

So I thought... (for all of you who actually suffered through the original... or laughed yourself to death from the MST3K version) what if Torgo was in fact a underworldian creature from the bowels of hell, "shelled" to look like a man (which would explain his imperfections and 'retardedness'), then later on finally burst out of his "shell" and look like a goat-thing to try to revolt against his master out of desperation.
A bit far fetched, yeah... but not totally silly, to say the least. I'd rather have people remake a BAD movie and improving on it, than remaking GOOD ones and totally crapping it up (which they keep doing...)
I know I only got the chance to upload ONE picture... funny enough, I did this one today as well. Rest assured there will be a lot more.. :D
