Been a long time since I've logged in. :p

Anyway, I just finished my first year at the New England School of Art and Design in Boston. I've been working on a bunch of different things and never really had time or a reason to bust on the tablet (aside from the fact it didn't work on my laptop until last month). I'm working on a project for the summer that I plan on painting a bit for, so I thought I'd make a preliminary sketch in Photoshop. After having windows crash 1.5 hours in the process and having to start over here's what I came up with:

Took a few hours, to be honest I lost track of time. :p I'd normally go into more detail, but this is going to be messily painted with acryllics and smaller. I feel it use a few things; namely another hour or so of work, more red and green and more "grotesqueness."

Any input is appreciated. Feel free to mosey around the rest of my album. :)

Oh, so here's the project; every year or so I design a hoodie puck-rock style- with bands and other things that I like. This year I wanted to do something more, well Metal, so I decided to grab one of these (http://www.dickies.com/wc2/product.asp?cat=101&type=H&styd=JT75BK&pdscr=JT75+UNLINED+EISENHOWER+JACKET). I have a handfull of stencils in production and for the left arm I'm going to make a bunch of arm bands of various symbols and bands (the above is for a Cannibal Corpse arm band). I'm absolutely suped to start serious work on this project. :D

Why not start a sketchbook thread? I'm waiting to post mine after I get my portfolio back.

That's an idea I suppose. Probably something I'll dedicate a weekend to. We'll see.

Sooo no critiques? You guys are no fun.

This section is for technical issues/questions about Photoshop specifically. If you want crits, post in the Critique Center and attach the piece to the post, rather than linking it.

You should post this in either the Work in Progress or Critique section - you'll get better responses there. Good luck!

*Elwell beat me to it!
