Well first off let me say that if you do help me by giving me an example I will not take your example, I have to do about 8 of these so 1 wouldn't help me out that much anyway. Basically I've been suspended from school. I got an art project which I don't understand fully.
I must critique a piece of artwork. I must explain how the artist used Elements (Line, shape, form, color, space, value, texture) and Principles (Rhythm, Balance, Emphasis, Movement, Contrast, Composition)
Now, I have to write how the artist used at least 3 Elements and Principles. I understand Principles well enough but I don't understand how to explain how Elements were used.
If you would be kind enough to help me out by giving me an example could you use The Mona Lisa (http://avline.abacusline.co.uk/pictures/jpeg/pics/mona.jpg) as the artwork?
Any advice or questions would be appreciated.
