What he said..
Amazing work, love the details in the engine. Future machines meet hotties, arguably the coolest combination known to man. Must see more...

The image of the city in the background looks deliberately painted (2D) and out-of-focus, which seems to work well to as a contrast to the foreground image. If you want it to look like a real city behind her, however, you will need to pay more attention to the direction and intensity of the primary light source.

The lollipop is a nice touch.

The gun and the city in the background are so off perspective it's starting to hurt my eyes.

This is so gorgeous I don't even know what to say! I actually enjoy the city in the background, I think the way you muted it brings some tasteful rest to the eyes. Seriously dude, sometimes I look at a piece and go "why do I even try painting when people are so much better than me!" Then, I kick myself in the ass and paint for hours to try to up my calliber to the level the people I admire have gotten to. Which I did tonight after viewing your post :) Kudos to you, I'd LOVE to see more.

Well I'll be looking at this picture for a couple of days. I'll start on the left.

Cheetara? Thread title through me off, I wasnt ready for the image. I didnt even notice there was a background until someone said something, so kudos there. The gun perspective is like an M.C. Escher image. Great detail on the bike and her face.

Hey the rendering of everything is really nice. but I'd like to offer some constructive criticism if you're open to it.
the detail on the bike is insane. really nice work. the girl is also very nice.

how would the girl sit if she were actually going to drive the bike? would the windsheild close over her back while she squished down on the seat? where would her head go? would the glas heat up on a hot day and burn the skin on her back? or cook her like a bug under there?
Would she fit on there leaning forward.
right now her head is all stuffed up into the back of the windshield. looks like her neck is going to hurt.

the perspective, skyline and baseline of the city are wonky. Its like you wanted it all to fit within the boundaries of the piece. it feels forced. the bases of most of the buildings run along the same curve as the bikes windshield. the tops all seem to end just at the top of the page.
try letting the tops and the bottoms of the buildings go behind and beyond the edges of your composition. it will give more depth and believability to the piece.

your rendering skills are awesome. Keep it up

Damn! One could keep staring at that. Beautiful work.

Two things though;
1) The gun barrle seems a bit off perspective
2) The city is too blurry. it kinda ruins the complete view. I'd even go so far as to say it would look better against a flat background if it can't be fixed.

The quality of the bike and the girl more than compensate for those flaws though, but I'm just saying fixing those two things would make it perfect.

that is just soooo awezome, love it, good job!
ony crit i whould have is that there are some big perspective issues in there, as everyone pointed out.

totally amazing!

As mentioned above, there are several perspective issues but, uh.... who's noticing? :)

Holy crap! And to think I clicked in expectation of seeing a lame-o fanboy digital painting of Lion-o.

Wow, yeah the title threw me off in my expectations too. There's just SO much going on. Funny thing is that since you blurred the city a bit, it not causing an extreme sensory overload that would've rendered this image unviewable.

I think the city being out of perspective sorta works if the city background was actually a fake backdrop. There's a few highlights in there where it definitely looks made up. That's being nitpicky but things like the specular on the back wheel isn't very consistent with the rest of the bike.

Her head also cut off at the windshield even though you can obviously see through that windshield?

The girl and the bike are brilliant, but that background just looks like a hanging painting.

yeah, the BG 'aint really doing it for me, it looks really washed out and its prespective pretty off kilter, it kinda looks like she's in a giant tube or something.
Same issue with her space revolver, its stock , trigger and chamber are all drawn in profile, but the end of the barrel and the scope are drawn in 3\4ths.

Her face also kinda looks like a sticker, and the little blue shield...thing above her head is off to a weird angle when I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be going strait.

What I really think is happening is that you're getting too caught up in rendering fancy effects and details and neglecting your underdrawing\fundimentals.

She seems very cut and pasted compared to the bike. Like she isn't really ON the bike if that makes sense. At least the upper half of her.

I dislike her hair as well, it's not falling how I'd expect and seems kinda stringy. Prolly a style choice though.

The colors are pretty and, despite perspective issues, I still really like the bike and gun. I'm a fan of shiny golds/reds/purples all mixed together.
