does any one know where on this site i may find a selection of good figure studies, or help on how to draw the human figure.

There are a ton on the CA wiki, but I'll link some I found helpful with the lighting and poses. None of these are how to draw, but there nice for reference and practice. I especially like the Andre Brito because of the lighting and poses. Human/Female anatomy for the artist only shows small thumbnails unless you subscribe.

posemaniacs.com is an extraordinary source of information and training for gesture and figure drawing, there cant be better source then this just try it out.
