Is there a away to save a custom default setting on how much spacing is in the brush option? It's the one with the slider with the "spacing" checked in. I like my brush spacing to be more tighter and I have to move the slider to the left every time I open photoshop CS2. THanks in advance.

Yep. Set the spacing to what you want it to be. Then in the bottom right of the brushes window you should see 2 icons, if you hover over the first one it will say 'Create new brush'. Clicky on it and it will create a new brush with the new spacing settings.Remember to save your brush set after this(top right of the brushes tab there should be an arrow pointing right, click and select the save option from the menu) You can also change the other attributes like scattering, angle etc and save these changes to the brush the same way.
I hope that's not too confusing :)
