Really nicely done, especially the beard. Maybe you can expand your color palette though. It's a really well done piece but more color would make it a lot more interesting.

@TmDurn7: I tried to be as close to the reference as possible - there are no other colors than what I have used or at least they´re close to the reference. I´m going to play with colorsetting in PS to see what I can do to intensify the colors in this piece. Of course I´ll use more intense colors if the subject makes it nessesary.

The colors definitely feel muted, but not improperly so. It would look better with more saturation and a warmer feel, but the lack of saturation doesn't diminish the realism.
My only issue is with the bottom of the beard, especially the area mid-way along the jaw-line down to the tip of the chin. It has a hard edge where it seems there should be more hair texture and shadows at work. Nit-picking :P

It may be just me but the eyes do not seem to line up. Colors are great and great to see your process...those eyes, messing with me.
