Finally time for me to actually, at least try to, get a sketchbook thread going here :)

Got myself a new sketchbook yesterday (this one (http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j135/mr_norris/new_sketchbookfoto.jpg)), and after a bit of sketching I decided to start a sketchbook thread.
Was a bit unsure about the sketchbook at first since the paper in it are a bit thicker and "grainier" than what I usually like to use. But after some sketching, I really like it. :)

More than a week since my last update. :dur:

I came up with a comic character recently and have been fleshing the character out a bit and so. getting the feel for the character. Well here's a batch of sketches of that.

I used this picture (http://www.officemuseum.com/American_Adding_Machine_Model_4_adder-lister_1.jpg) as a base and copied and stretched it around and started going over with brushes. Got the idea from a Levente Peterffy speed paint video.

A woman of noble birth, or something. Wanted to go full color on it, but the lower half of her body didn't get right. Might give it another go.
