It's beautifully painted, man... the lower torso looks a little long to me, but regardless it is a fanatstic piece.

This looks really great.

Nice job of implying detail with such loose rendering.

usual excellent rendering and colors. the head is wonderful and I really like the combination of oriental and western armor and weapons. I'm also impressed with how quickly you create new images.

that said..the total anatomy feels a little disconnected. I'm not certain what it is specificly, but something feels odd about him. I wish I could help more with this, perhaps use photos to begin the figure, get the poses?

keep it up!

I agree, it's very well painted but looks a little off. Does anyone else think his head looks perhaps a little small? Or maybe his body is just too long overall.

thats really cool I like the mood and subject. I also like how the focus is drawn to the more finely detailed areas.

Your painting skills and techniques are amazing. The concept is prettty cool, about the magic stone thing. The torso is a touch long, but I think it might add to the character's personality.

good atmosphere, very nice and great effect for such few strokes.

Cool concept and palette! The face is quirky. The features remind me more of a child than a tough guy. Try painting from Arnold S's face, that's probably the kind of anatomy you would want. The paint strokes remind of Justin Sweet's work.

What a nice piece. I really like the way you work, and the freshness in your strokes is really well executed.

Post more if you got em. I wanna see!

i love the earthy colours you stuck too.
oh and how the image fades away at the bottom using texture.

I love the little detail in the sword, it`s almost like it`s melting.
The expression on his face is a bit too unfocused, like he`s watching TV and just doing his mojo at the same time, without actually putting any feeling into it.

I very much like this image style, a bit j_sweet/mullins stylish. Dark yet light. :D

You know, first impression is that his head is maybe a little small....but then after a moment I got in to the "feel" of the piece, thinking that "okay this guy doesn't necessarily have to look like someone that lives in my apartment complex" i.e., maybe he is a "bred" warrior. Smaller head = smaller target, or maybe his body is huge compared to civilians/enemy/whatever - strength etc.

See how carried away I get when confronted with such an excellent work of art? :) Very inspiring, would love to see more --- Soli
