hey guys, this piece was done for an online challenge. There is no story behind the piece, its just something i thought up. The topic of the competition was magical fury

It looks like you really tried to nail those sort of glowy runic shapes on the hand and to your credit you certainly did, they're very cool looking. But, i think that the larger major shapes were given less attention than they deserve. The anatomy of the fairy itself is odd- the arms are very short, the waist is really long, the legs are short. The demonic hand also needs some anatomical attention- did you use reference? You could use better background colors as well- the ochery blue isn't very attractive. And make a decision as to where this is even occuring. There's some kind of sharp shape on the left side but i don't know if that's the side of a cave? or a knife?

yea i didnt use a reference for the hand or the girl. the sharp shape is the tip of a wing.
