hey man, great stuff going on, can't wait to see more. I really like the red environment painting, nice contrasts and lovely edges. It seems as the others are lacking in contrasts though, which makes them a bit boring, exept for the bright desert pic, wich is great too. But other than that I really dig what I see, awesome pencil portraits!

I like to see artists still using that cross hatching tech.
I agree with motives' statement.
use a little more atmospheric perspective....knock the colors in the background back more by hazing them out.

corel painter has a great blender brush (i think its grainy water) that can instantly produce this effect.

You've got a beautiful technique and your anatomy is good as far as I can tell. I would like to see a variation in your subject matter- maybe some futuristic stuff, some dragons and maybe a few industrial/product renderings.

For the latest one, I think the right arm (on our left) might be a bit short... the foreshortening isn't working IMO. But she's sexy :)

Hello!

What a wonderful sketchbook - so much variety and work! I particularly
enjoyed seeing the playboy lady turn from a sketch, suddenly, into this
mindblowingly 3d vixen. The onions are exquisite also, I like how
everything is tonally close in the painting.

quick question... on your last peice... the astronaut guy. his chestplate... how did you make it look like that?!
was it an overlay to black and white as a starter drawing?

beautiful shading, you have a wonderful eye! the onions on paper is just magnificent.
Your latest looks great as well, but give him some reflection, I assume his helmet has glass? It also feels too dark inside the helmet, like his head is floating. Maybe some small interior lights to give it some shape?
