I thought I'd try my hand today at atleast one more FF7 drawing, although my teachers will kill me as they seem to as of the late own my abillity to draw what I want to ... oh well.
Heard there was a FF7 movie being made and I couldn't resist.
Oh and don't mind the other oddities on the page ... just going to show a little hallucinagens never hurt ... too much.
The original was done in markers and finished up in Painter.

Interesting style. Do I see a possible Giger influence?
Its a type of illo that needs a good second look to get the full impact. Nice stuff.

Draw what you want in your own times and for class draw what you want as long as it pertains to curriculum :D This looks cool. This is a cool "mix" of things and well done compisition-wise. Cool stuff!

Thanks, I'm glad everyone likes it. :) I did definitely have some giger influence in there. I think this is probly the MOST strangest fanart I've ever done, but it turned out pretty decent.
Ah, now back to working on the environments I was supposed to be doing for class

Sorry, hate to be a stick in the mud with all the luv fest action in this thread, but I gotta say that this pic doesn't work at all. The background is haphazard, the colors of the subject are muddy and executed without a great deal of skill. I don't know what hallucinegens the other posters are using, but they are doing you a disservice by not giving you any really useful comments. I know you are in school and have a ways to go, but look around a little and be honest with yourself. It's the only way to improve. My advice is to stay away from computer art programs until you have a firm grasp of the basics.

Well honesty is always a good thing, I'll definitely try to work on some of that.
