I currently use a Wacom Intuos Tablet. I really like it but now that im getting more serious about my art ive been considering investing in the Ciintiq model. Thats the one that is actually an LCD so it works like a tablet PC where you draw directly on the screen. I was wondering if many artists use this type of tablet or they mainly use the traditional type of tablet. Is the Cintiq worth the price? What are your opinions? Also Ive been thinking that since Im going to college and need a laptop, are there any tablet PCs that are high enough quality to paint with, like the same quality as a Cintiq tablet?
