This is probably the wrong place to look for a tattoo apprenticeship, but I thought I'd give it a try. Tattoos are something I've always wanted to do and I've been searching all over Tampa for a good apprenticeship. I don't have a resume or a portfolio online (I will soon), but if anyone has any information I would be very greatful.

Thank you very much!!

Jessika

PS--> If there are any artists in the area who read this, I can send you any art samples or info needed.

just a quick tip about being a tattoo apprentice... you gotta have cash upfront and a job on the side to support you. my brother was an apprentice for a few months, it cost him like couple thousand just to get started and while he was apprenticing, he wasn't getting any money so he had to work on the side. but now he says it was worth it. he charges what he wants (in a reasonable way, he won't charge $500 bucks for a small tat that took like 20 mins) and splits that 50-50 with the owner, plus he gets tips. he once got $100 tip!! so just a head's up and good luck!!
