I'm in the process of starting a new comic project called 'Phoenix Epoch', which features a rather bloody sci-fi universe locked in genocidal war.
If you're interested in the project, you can read the entire timeline at my forums. (http://mcgibs.iseenothing.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=891)
Here's a few concepts I've done in the last couple days.

The serie's logo of a red earth with bird wings. Also looks sorta like a flame.

Religious soldiers

preliminary designs for aformentioned soldiers.

Various doodles of tribal-esque warriors.

Love the face paint and hair style concepts.

Little Nitpick: The fact that many of the costumes tie together and have a very similar theme/look is both good and bad. Good because it helps create a believable, consistant society and bad because the designs will get abit too repititive IMO, alot like StormTroopers from Star Wars.

I really like the work. My only complaint is that the S.I.K.A. stage II looks a lot like a Stormtrooper.

Otherwise, you've got a great style and I hope you go somewhere with it.
