Hello,

I didn't post a lot, so here some informations about me:
Actually, I'm studiying compositing stuff in France, and I discovered technical stuffs doesnt matter anymore... The Artist need to develop eyes on life and how things interact with each other. So I decided to do some concepts/mattes because that's help a lot and cause I like that :p

Here will be some of my works, so if you have any comments or advices, etc... please do it :) I'm here to learn and I see that there are some very good people :p

This works help me to develop a workflow on photoshop for concept. Everything based on composition, Lighting and Texture. I didn't push it a lot because it wasnt my mean goal.

PS: I can't do advanced stuffs, I don't have my tablet yet, so I'm doing everything with my mouse, it's a little difficult for me :p

Here an update:

A small mattepainting that I started today...

I merged 3-4 elements from different references, and paint a part of the FG sand, and BG Sky, (also the houses extensions and addition).

Not finished yet, I would like to give it an atmosphere I don't know if you can feel it... (tell me please) If I have time, I will do a camera projection of it :p

As nobody post comments, I guess my works are bullshit :) So I will try to push it more.

and I noticed that I have a lot of difficulties to work with a mouse...

that last painting looks nice, i wonder if u did it on feeling or painted over the reference.
the rest of ur stuff looks good to, certainly if ur working with a mouse :)
If I had to give u advice, I'd say you have to go more in an artistic way, ur first works really have potential, they reminded me of Linkin Park's Minute to Midnight artwork, google some of that and you'll know what I mean ;)

Hello Grafguy, and thanks.
Everything is done with feelings only, for the matte, I just saw the picture and thought: "Hey that could be nice in a desert at night", and start something...
for the concept, I start only with form and light, I don't master it for the moment (I mean, if you ask me a robot into a giant city, I can't did it like that... :p)
