We're searching for a few candidate artists who can collaborate with our team in developing a number of large themed galleries for a new project.
The work will consist of between 3-7 color illustrations that capture the design and narrative intent of the environments we are devising. Lighting and mood will be key factors in the success of these pieces. Staging is even more important--where the action is occuring, how it is set within the overall composition, etc.
These settings will all be naturalistic, not techy or sci-fi in any way, more woodsy. Maybe a little exotic. Keep that in mind when considering this gig.
Work would likely begin in early to mid-June and need to be complete by August. We envision this starting with a kick-off meeting in our offices in Ohio (we pay travel, time). the actual work can then occur wherever. We could expect to play an active role in reviewing/approving roughs and the rest of the way through the process.
We typically pay $1000-$1500 for individual works of this nature, when we are buying single pieces. We are hoping to get some consideration based on volume but are happy to discuss costs further. We respect quality and great ideas above all else.
