Hi, I'm interested finding a good concept artist for some character designs. he intent here is to help flesh out a game design treatment I'm working on. The setting is a near-future cyberprep world, something like the movie Minority Report. If you're a fan of Deus Ex and cRPG's, that's a big plus.
These would primarily be sketches, with the possibility of inking and coloring dependent on how things go. Manga / anime style is not what I'm looking for. However, artwork influenced by artists such as Masamune Shirow, retaining realistic proportions and anatomy, is fine. Familiarity with the technical demands of game sprite art, though not required, is a plus also.
For some of these characters, I have a very clear idea of what I want, and I may request changes - several times. For others, I may be a lot more vague. That means that sometimes you'll get to flex your creative muscles a lot, and sometimes not so much. Fair warning :)
If your work really clicks, I am interested in the possibility of a long-term collaboration, which could mean paying work in the future.
