Thought this link might be of interest to some people. These look beautiful, but I just can't imagine what it looks like at ground zero.

with all that goes on in are galaxy, how can there not be life on those galaxies?

Those images are fantastic!

So I guess if you were outside the milky way, you wouldn't be looking out at a starry filled sky, you'd be looking out at a galaxy filled sky. That must be quite a sight.

I've been watching this series on History channel. Some great stuff. Apparently there already ARE 2 other small galaxies colliding with the milky way right now.
