Is there any way to change flow in PS6? All the threads I see talk about CS2 and CS3 and stuff. I could really benefit from some flow changes and I can't find how to do this.

I think maybe my version of PS is too old, but I have to ask before giving up.

Also, if I were to upgrade my PS, what version do you recommend for a hardcore PS6 lover? I tried PS7 back in the day and haaaaaaaated it so much I wanted to cry.

I'm not sure what brush options does ps6 have , but for flow , try :

brush presets>other dynamics>flow jitter:pen pressure

as for upgrading , ps7 should work alright , but cs2 has a lot more options and would make your work alot easier.

If you have it, it would be up next to opacity when you've had the brush tool selected. Well... at least.. in my version of PS :-/ (CS2)

Here's a screenshot of both flow settings. The drop box in the right is considered the brush editor.

PS6 has a vastly different brush engine, and it may not have the concept of 'flow' on the paintbrush tool... You may find what you're looking for within the spray paint tool options. Maybe you can turn on a spray paint mode for the paintbrush, I don't remember. Double clicking the brush tool gives you options if I remember right.

I'd say upgrade to CS2, although it may have the same weirdness you didn't like about ps7 (whatever it was). :)

PS brushes changed dramatically from 7.0... I don't think you could do much in PS 6.0 and below.. I would also advise to upgrade to CS2 or 3...
