The painting of Gabrielle Cot looks fantastic right now! It's one of my fav paintings ever and I did a copy of it a while ago too but that was digital. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to really do it justice with oil paints with all the subtleties in the tones and hues but you are doing a really good job of it so far! Would you like to tell us a bit about your process? I'm mostly curious about how you approach it after the grisaille layer.I was under the impression that glazes work best but you seem to be applying paint rather thickly. I'm super rusty with oils and unfortunately all my training only involved painting alla prima so any insights into this layered method would be most appreciated!
Oh yea, the cars look fantastic too!

Ohoho, absolutely fantastic! Great rendering skills! Love the first Indian portrait!
But I'd also like to see some looser sketches! :)
