This is not a bad drawing at all, however, without the title you gave it I'm not sure I'd recognize this as a "heroic" character. If anything, the dark clothing and the skull logo on the shirt give the appearance of a villanous character. Also, the pose is kind of casual. Heroes tend to have a strong pose, like with their chests puffed out or their muscles tensed. They look primed for action. It's kind of hard to make out the face at this size, but I think a stronger jaw and lighter eyes would also help add to the heroic effect you're going for. I hope I'm making sense. If you don't really care if it's heroic or not and just slapped that title on then ignore me, because it's a good drawing. If you want this to be something people can look at with no background information and immediately identify as a hero, then you have to play to some of the cliches that people tend to expect from heroic characters. Keep up the good work!

Excellent reply PencilPunx. I didnt think of that, but when U said it, It really hit home. I forgot that I usually do people that are misperceived by most people.
I changed the title so far. The continued work on this will have to stand back for other stuff for now.
Thanx again for excellent remarks :D
(PS If Ur interessted, thoughts along the same line as yours were expressed by philosopher Erwin Goffman in hmmm, "self and the masks" I guess the title would be? And that may also be the explanation to Mr Schwarzeneggers recent successes... DS)

Hey there, I like your pic, just wanted to say his left arm looks shorter or something, and you could add highlights to his shoes to separate from the pants, maybe add more dark tones to his hair. Other than that he looks like a modern civilian hero
