Here's a pen/ink & graphite metamorphosis assignment I did for my design class. Its a digital pic, sorry. The celtic knot in the center is a tattoo I have. I'd love to see one of you awesome painter people color this thing.

Someone on another board was asking me what the purpose of the design was. I was kind of thinking it would look good on a battle shield or chest plate. Any input would be appreciated.
