Environment: River valley

Hey everyone. I haven't posted in a while. This is a recent valley rendering for a test. I'll upload the thumbnail sketches soon, a couple files got corrupted so I'm going to try and fix those boogers.

I love the way the grass is done in the foreground. It mimics a photograph. Nice work.

I found some awesome reference in National Geographic. Originally this was going to be an evening shot but you can't beat a sunshiny day:)

This is a pretty nice job. I feel like you should push the lighting more tho. At the moment it looks way too diffuse to be such a sunny day. The lighting should be much more harsh than this i think.
I really love the sketches you did tho. They have so much life to them and they really work well, i think you just need to keep working at your lighting and colours.

Thanks. Wow your right. First I need to bump up that contrast and then put some harsh light on the larger areas, especially the green hills in the valley.
