I really like the last image, the concept designs are a nice addition. The first piece is good, I'm a little confused with the positioning of the legs but the rendering is sweet. Good stuff.

Overall, nice designs... The tight focus you got in the torso is very good, but the unfinished look of the background (and the outter parts of the character) doesn't do it any justice. Honestly, it looks like you couldn't be bothered to add the same care and attention to the bg as you have done parts of the character. It would be a stronger illustration, if you considered this. Sorry for being harsh....

I really wish you could work the smoke soul idea into the final illustration. I think that is the most captivating part, but it is essentially lost in the final piece. The concept work and, especially, the last image seem to be more advanced than the initial illustration.

If that last one was from photoshop, where did you get that brush from?
Awesome by the way.

Amazing works, every single page is great! and whats awesome is that every single "initial" concept kicks ass in it's own way, and if u would of done any of those, it would of still kicked ass.

but the main image is epic,i love it. the face design seems to change a bit from picture to picture though.

so whats this "dominance war" thing i hear about?
and can we have a link to the smoke brush you used?

Very very cool. The head designs give him a great evil overlord tone. I also love the diffrent concept versions of him. I like his weapon, but I wish I could see some more concepts for those too. Well done.
