I dunno, i think U might have taken on a too big project. I dont want to sound like a negative bore, but I mean, U have water, clods, moonlit sky with evil tower and an airship - very bold and enthusiastic. :D
However it might be a to hard topic at this point. Theres lots of guys here at CA who wouldnt go for such a big thing without thinking and planning for a month maybe.
I know for sure I couldnt pull of that without further development.
My biggest objection would be the clouds, Im no biggie on skies myself, but U´ll have to see some images of moonlit nightskies to render them naturally.
Maybe make one of the tower alone without surroundings? Then make the tower in daylight and then go from there?
Theres so much to light and shadow and color that cant be learned at one time, U´ll just have to take it one small step at a time.
Keep up the work and nice to see U got the wacom working :)
I hope I dont sound to mean, I just want to try to help you out

One of??? This is the only tower in my pic, but that should be quite obvious just by looking at it.
I'm not quite sure if I understand why you think I shouldn't be doing something as big as this. I'm just doing this for fun and practice is practice. And I'm already so far into it I couldn't just stop now and start doing something else. Best to just finish this first, I think.
I think I might remove the airship, it's just not looking good enough.
I'll try to improve the clouds and the sky in general.
Any suggestions for the water or just anything in the pic, anyone?
Edit: I managed to make the pic look a little better just with some few minor adjustments. I'll upload it as soon as possible (within the next 5 minutes, I hope).

Just a thought... add some stars..The horns/thorns onthe tower are the same color as the cloudblobs..what is the tower suppsed to be made of? I think the rocks are the best feature
and overall for the picture..use some refrence..refrence is your friend... I think Johaness was refering to an Element (cloud,water,airship)..not suggesting there was another tower

Like one (Drawing) of the tower alone... thats what I got from the comment.
I agree with Johannes. Perhaps a bit much all at once without references. I would do at least 5 studies with references of each element before trying to put them all together.
I also wish you would use a more confident brush. I think the airbrush obscures a lot of your hard work, and I would love to see your brush strokes.
Rocks are tight tho! Rocks always give me grief.

Okay, perhaps I should have said this in my first post, but I would also like some advice. Like ´Do this or that about the water´, ´Do this and that, then the first again about the sky´....
The two worst parts of my pic (IMO) are the water (the worst of the two) and the sky. I feel that I should maybe darken the water, but I don´t think that´s going to be enough to fix it. Any suggestions.
And no, I´m not going to abandon this pic and I´m not going to do just one part at a time. I´ve started this pic and I´m going to finish it. Now get off my back! :D

Thanks, but I don´t think they´ll help as none of them portray the kind of night sky I´m trying to do. I´ll try searching at Google images for some photos for reference.
But thanks anyway. You tried, and that shows you care, and that´s all that matters.

I'd try some sharpness once the sky and water are rendered a bit more from reference. I really would stress what the others said, references are important, use them. Looks like a good start.
