Nice! I love the colors, but I think his head's a little too small. You definatly got the "sad mood" part, though.

Agreed in capturing the "sad" mood. Good usage of duller colours to create this effect. I think something anatomically is wrong with the character though. The head might be a bit too small and his left shoulder looks off. The colours really work for the atmosphere. The background is well rendered. Good work man, I'm definetly digging the emotion here.

thx a lot. i like the depressive mood and i'm glad, that it works for you too.
i'm not sure about his left shoulder, because he's kneeling down right now and needs his left arm to do that...but ok, i had no reference for this guy, so it could be like that as well.
