Going straight for the inks huh? hmm well they are all well handled. Do you do any pencil layins before you go in with the blacks? Also are you doing these at a 4 year university and if so where, these look what they were having me do before i started at Watts.

your doing good then. spend time on your layins. Here is a step by step you should follow. remember take your time and focus on the model and not everything in the backround.

sorry about the quality but he has some new tutorials that he should be posting here soon and these were taken in class.

good picture, thanks alot. The assignment is drawing the figure with the backgroun integrated, i think its dumb, cause the two are like really cramped considering the studio we are in.

but be careful not to make it the focus. have it in blur like a camara would if the focus was the model.
