wow, after a week of regerstering, lurking these forums and trying to post, a finaly can, yay!

anyway, i just started to get into concept design about a week ago, i wont show you all my stuff, but heres my latest piece.
its a kind of hover tank, its ment to be made from 'scrap' materials, as its on a planet with not many resorces. and has to be able to withstand harsh evirometal conditions. (its for a sand/desert planet)

I like the colors. The tank however need some more details aswell as maybe views from the front?
Wheres the hatch to enter the tank and how big is a man compared to it?

I would also like to see some of that lovely purplish color used behind the tank to pop it off the page, much in the same way you used it to bring the scenery forward.

Your concepts seems pretty tight. My advice: Draw more losse and faster, so the mistakes wont hurt you.

-Johannes- > what other details could i put on the tank? i have done a view kinda 3/4, but it came out bad, i'll post it up later anyway. i'll try a front view and a figure to show size.

-oeguard- > ok, good idea. i'll add the bg colour when i get home from school (its lunch break at the mo!)

-Danilo- > thanks. yeah, one of my biggest problems is the fear of making mistakes, i'll try and relax a bit more.

Some good rendering skills. The texture in the metal tank is looking awesome. The scenery is rough, yet it gives just the information one would need of the landscape :)

thanks, glad you like it, the tank took all night the colour!! i used alot of marker ink, but i think it was worth it.

i need to practice my enviroments more, i've done a few more, i'll try to scan them in later.
