nice work! i like the kid with the dog the most - the colors are really nice. i think ur work communicates more when it has a background.

There's some really neat stuff here. I like the kid with the dog too, I think it works best as an illustration. I also like the different designs in the "evil" illustration, although there's too much of almost the same shade of red, which makes it harder to focus on the characters. The basketball player is also cool, but that "squeeze" in his head looks a little out of place (same goes for the kid under him).

You definitely have something going on there, I'd like to see more.

Hey Mike,

Nice stuff... I am digging the first one and the guy looking at the crystal ball. I agree with the comment that your work is stronger when you include a full environment. Maybe some of your characters could be in more energetic poses or doing something specific instead of just standing there... even in your simple character design work. Keep on posting!

Tuna B- thanks, i think your right about the backgrounds, and i like doing them

Chate Noire- thank you for your feedback, you are right about the red being too similar, i struggled with that, and the head shapes on some of the characters sometimes get pushed too far, i imagine they were difficult births.

ADStudio- hey, thanks, good to hear from you, im enjoying backgrounds more than i used to, and your right about the characters would be more fun doing something or with more interesting poses, sometimes they get too static

Cool drawings, you have a lot of variety in your cartoon work.:)

I really like the 6th drawing, the color and the ink blot background work really well together and the last drawing is painted really well.

Thunderrobot- thanks, the picture was inked in painter, my first time inking with it and it is really easy compared to every other program ive tried. the guy was a gray scaled gouache painting colored in photoshop.

oOHereticOo- thanks, i tried coloring it different than i normally do and i like working this way

sentinelite- thanks, but i realized after he looks a lot like eric powells the goon

Chupacabra- thank you for the feedback, and i just saw your video backgrounds on gorilla artfare, they were extremly impressive
