Hey everyone. I've been visiting this site for a long time now (though I haven't ever had the guts to register and get involved until now :P), and I've come to really appreciate the community here - I've read some amazing tutorials here that have helped me become a better artist, but I'm still not nearly as good as I want to be, so I've decided to transfer from the community college I've been attending and move onto a better school.
I live in the south bay area in California near San Jose. I don't want to move far from home for personal reasons, so I'm really only looking at schools in the immediate area, which narrows it down to two schools: San Jose State, and the newly opened Art Institute in Sunnyvale.
I'm still undecided with where I want to take my art, so right now, I'm debating whether I should pursue something well rounded like Graphic Arts, or maybe take it deeper and go with something involving 3D Animation.
I know it's way too early to tell about the Sunnyvale Art Institute, but does anyone have any experience with the Graphic Design or Animation courses at another AI campus? What about SJSU?
I'd really appreciate any input I can get.
Thanks,
Chris
