Greetinz. I'm a noob to concept art, however it's attracted a great deal of my attention as of late and inspired me beyond words. I have no classical training in the arts so any progress I've made up to now was hard won on a really sloooooooooooow road. But hanging out in this forum lately has given me some breath and fortitude to switch gears, close the chapter on the stuff I was doing, and retool my portfolio! I'm drawing more now than i have in the past 7 years which is more or less when I first picked up the pencil. So here's a few images of what I've been producing over time...or let's say "where I'm starting". I've drawn for jewelry, relief carvings, costume, ouija boards, yada yada, and I will love nothing more than to discover even more ways to articulate even bigger ideas. Thanks for your time peeps! There is a real energy here. Nicely done. I think you are more skilled than your modest self-assessment.

Excellent work! Has a WPA, art deco feel, mixed with mysticism. But also reminds me a bit of Stanislav Szukalski and Hannes Bok.

tnx gents.
hurricane: i grew up in chicago and definitely had a stiffy for street writing! that sort of lead to an interest in other written languages, particularly arabic and hebrew (their written forms...i have yet to achieve fluency in any language other than english. and that's even a long-shot). i was so juiced the day i had discovered certian european iconic painters approached their work "as if writing it". me too!
nathan: szukalski is awesome. politically and socially a really abrasive soul, but his work is absolutely timeless and put classical things into a context i picked up on really fast. some very interesting anthropological ideas too....
