the weapon in her right hand needs to be reworked. the mechanism has a recoil in it. so she can throw the mace in the air...over-handed, under-handed ...whatever. then snap it back into her glove.

Kick ass stuff Keyth. I think that her hands are a bit on the large side...it's cool to egagerate, but I think these might be a bit on the extreme side. I'm not sure what to make of the spike flail, thing on her arm. Over all though I think its damn sweet...I can see a bit of James Hawkins influence...which is a good thing IMO. Keep it up!

omg thats real cool! Her pose gives you a nice and casual "i'm gonna kill you..." effect. btw to me it looks like shes just throwing that mace thing up and down, waiting for something to throw it at, which adds alot of character :D

sorry, just have to say that i'm completly in love with the compositional aspects dealing with the lower portion of the image and the way that the the weapon curves through her legs...brilliant, very dynamic for an otherwisely quiet piece

of I could be her slave, which ever she wants. :D :D :D :D
her costume really compliments her attitude and weapon design. modern, patient, viscious, and cold-calculating.
the patience really shows through with her playing catch with herself until she has to logde her "ball-o-fun" into a head somewhere.
I like her sassy pose, looks like a young girl turned into a woman real early in her life (especially with the big hands).
coolness.

That's a beautiful piece! Nice 'tude expressed in features, costume and pose. I've got a couple of nitpicks, tho- first, an anatomy tweak. Check out the condyles on her ankle- you've got 'em switched (should be inner high, outer low). The second pissy-point is just a style theory: Never draw anything in plan view- tilt that beautiful scythe more dramatically. It's looking a bit diagrammatic.... This beeyatch would be thrusting it forward, and the dramatic angle would follow through nicely to her arm and hand. Lastly, I really like her mace-launcher- it looks like it really functions! The form is a little ill-defined and squishy- what would a modeller do with it? A cool idea like this would be worth a detail study... let's see one!

i would like to thank every single one of you for the kind words. it's something that keeps me going. as far as the hands go....well, to be honest it's my mistake and something that wasn't intended....you live and you learn.:p

That's some really good stuff. Reminds me a little of Fengz stuff, only with pencils. Did you use a normal HB pencil or anything else?

Keyth my man, your stuff is rockin! I love that facial expression, very nicely done. As for the hands, Rodin liked to sculpt big hands and it never bothered me none.
The gloved hand looks fine to me--that metal glove would be larger than the hand inside it anyway. As for the ungloved hand, take a look at the hands of super models. Some of them have big fricken meat hooks! I mean real ape-hangers! Man-hands! But that's what you get on a woman who is 6' tall. What they DO have is length and delicacy to their digits. In short, the size of her bare hand is fine, I think it just needs a little more elegance in the design of the anatomy.
Keep posting more of your stuff! I'm diggin' it.
