Hi guys,
Yesterday and today I spent 7-8 hours working on this thing (from pencil/paper to these renderings). It was sooooooo fun :) :) :)

very nice, and quick turnaround. my applause to you. is there a way you could do a specularity map, and render it with it? i think that would add a ton. also, I think that a 1024 might be a little excessive maybe try reusing space on similar objects, i think 2x 512 would prolly be a little more resourceful, especially for an object in its poly range, perhaps a post of the flats?

Hey PIMM, thanks :)
I tried the model with a scaled-down texture (one 512X512, just resized the original), and everything seems unchanged besides the rivets on the wheels and the rear barrel -- things easy to fix, but it'll be later :)
Here's the original texture:

I think you should add some more graffiti, perhaps on the front barrels. Like the jaws they used to paint on old airplanes, or perhaps a troll army crest of sorts. With some more graffiti on the lower regions, I believe it would be more visually ballanced, because as it stands (or rolls) as of now, the text on the turret makes it seems "top heavy." And by that, I mean that my eye is drawn directly to the top of the tank by the visual weight of the text. Otherwise, I think the design is great; I love the quirkiness of it. Good work.
