The details on his costume, the paint job, and the cloth cape are all very good. His anatomy is a little questionable, tho. The hands are well done, but what I'm mainly looking at are the stiff way his arms are held parallel to his body. On your next scuplture, I'd suggest getting someone to pose for photos and sketches.

I'd very much like to see more like this.

Makes me want to try sculpture.

What did you sculpt this with? The details are great - especially the cape. His pose is kind of stiff. Good job overall.

Thanks for the comments

Yeah, his arms are a bit too large, or legs too long, take your pick. The pose was purposely static simply because he is my first full figure human sculpt. Before that was a monster thing which was very exaggerated. I plan on capturing a much more dynamic pose for my next figure.

pretty ambitious stuff! Keep it up. If you're doing more humans, you may wanna do some without clothing and focus on the anatomy. You might want to pick up "Modeling the figure in clay" by Lucchesi if you don't have it already. Brilliant reference in there.

The arms and neck could tighten up more on the defination of the muscles. I would also suggest doing some without much costuming. That way it would help getting the proportions right and less guessing with the anatomy behind the costumes. Nice job on the whole.
