I am looking for an experienced artist to make a few designs for my new clothing line (for now I’m starting with T-shirts). It will be somewhat of gothic designs; the artist can feel free to express his own ideas and art as I am open to all suggestions and interpretations.
As for Compensation:
Royalty fees will pay out every time your image is used on our clothing or you may sell us your image on an agreed amount. Everything is contract based signed by both parties.
We are also looking for that exceptional artist that can make many designs for us.
Please contact me to discuss further. Justincase26@hotmail.com
Thank you.

Royalty contracts require artists to have open access to company accounting records and a quarterly or annual statement regarding financial decisions made on behalf of the artwork, or by the company. The contract should also specify how often the royalty amounts are to be distributed.

The company should also keep a verifiable way of keeping records and documents pertaining to each and every single transaction, in an organized way so that it can be easily screened for accuracy, by any third party.

Design and Illustrating are 2 separate focuses.
According to GAG, illustration designed to be used for apparel runs at an average of $1800-$4200 per art, as a flat fee without royalties. Full ownership of copyrights comes at a price that is easily double or triple of the original production cost.

Design of apparel includes concept, presentation of 3-5 layouts, comps, supervision of production/illustration or photography, and final design. This process is about $6000-$8000 at the lower end, and starts at $10,000-$30,000 for the general market. The costs mentioned here are as a project, not as a royalty-based contract.
