hey, does anybody go to the site eatpoo? cause ive got astory to tell.
i was chattin away idly on eatpoo. i returned a few minutes after posting to find that somebody had hacked my name and posted racist comments in my place. they had also changed my avatar to a swastika. i was horrified. the admin then banned me( i dont blame him exept it wasnt me!) and now i have no way of changin anything. i cannot believe this seeing as i post on this site, conceptdesignforum.com and eatpoo for sum time. if anybody knos anythin that can help me erase this stain on my online profile on eatpoo, or if anybody knows mods, i would be very grateful. thank you anyone who can help.
:(
p.s. im not a newby i have posted here but my old profile of pazshadow got screwed up so i had to change to shadow

i don't mind the eatpoo forum but i generally don't like how the 'power' is controlled.
I once was an admin then out of the blue i was removed to 'civilian' status. later i was banned(many times) for expressing views that were completely justified compaired to the other comments around the forum. Singled out and smited. I have no hard feelings.

I think it's pretty sad what they did to that graffo guy. He's all upbeat and funny ... so they make him a mod and give him a custom title. Then he posts something about war and how it saddens him... they kick him while he's down and remove his mod priviliges.
I also think it's kinda sad, how people think differently of older members as to newer members. A member with 1500 posts can express his opinions on a sensitive matter, but a member with 150 posts will get banned for having the same opinions.

No capitals, every fifth word is spelled wrong. In their rules awhile ago, along with "no newb art" was also a rule about a decent level of spelling being used. Cuz` itz teh rgiht tignh to od!!11 Honestly though type a little more careful.
Eatpoo has some artists who don't post here and if they do, don't post often. Eatpoo is fine for people older than 18 who want to hang out and show some artwork. If you are a learning artist being banned from "Teh Poo" isn't that big of a deal in my opinion. The regulars sure are funny though.

you do realize that he is implying that 95% of artists have dyslexia.
which is absolutely fucking idiotic.
even saying 95% of artists have bad spelling would be fucking retarded, but he went even further and said that they have a disorder.
if im making typos its cause im a lazy fuck, too excited to care about correcting them, or just dont care, not because im a fucking dolt or have a disorder.

the #'s probbably has something to do with the boss. although my fathers firm has a number of dyslexic people also..
whats funny is we have a guy thats the designated "spellchecker" ..but he has absolutly no creative talent, or at least lacks the confidence to put something orignal out there..
meanwhile the rest of us we have a hard time submitting something that looks like it could have been done anyware.
its seems that in order to get around our disablities we HAD to be creative, or be left in the slow lane.

subhuman, Fish specifically said:
I work in a design office...its a givin that 95% of the creative talent can't spell, me included. the boss's kids are in special ed' for dyslexia and most of us should have been..
The structure of that sentence implies that the creative talent he is referring to is the talent within the design company for which he works.
Otherwise he would have said:
I work in a design office...its a givin that 95% of creative talent can't spell, me included. the boss's kids are in special ed' for dyslexia and most of us should have been..
See if you can spot the difference.
Thus he is not implying that 95% of all artists have dyslexia. In fact, he is only stating that 95% of the creative talent within the design company he works for can't spell.

subhuman----I never ment to say that all dyslexics are creative or vice versa. but i do know that the ones in my office are. amoungst us its a consensus that our creative talents were honed by overcomeing dylxia to keep up in an accademic world.
when you write/ draw/ sculpt, design in general you do so with a certain level of confidance.
if you can't spell your already self consious of what your putting out there, and therefore would more likely either not do well or find another way of expression. Now in a compeditive enviroment you MUST perform so why not hone a tallent in which your natural abilities don't inhibit you.
my point about the non creative guy in our office who can spell , was that he lacked the confidence to commmit to a unique design, yet he has total confidence in the well defined rules of english language; because he was good at it. He could very well be very creative but without the confidence to perform no one would ever know it. hes stuck withhin his own little comfort zone
We (dyslexics at my office) are not good at following "manmade" rules but we have no problems with natural concepts..
ie. I wouldn't dare write something more complicated then this little rant because my english is horrible, but i would show a pic of mine to anyone( see bottom)
By no means is this a global statement. But for us to get to were we are today in our proffesinal lives we had to have been "good" at something.. and for us it was being creative

believe it or not they did the same kind of thing to me over there at one point. some funny boy replaced conceptart.org with tubgirl in the admin control panel and then went in and edited my posts to say offensive things. i wouldnt doubt if it was the same meathead who did that to you.
is there something wrong with the above picture?...other than it points out the obvious.
oh well...you are welcome here.
banning is sometimes mood dependent. i tend to ban if the behavior goes against all we work for on the forums. recently i banned someone who came in and said negative things about eatpoo...the eatpoo members..sijun...spooge...and others whom are members who contribute here. my statement to him was simple. we value constructive criticism..not destructive criticism.
the mod behavior on eatpoo however is often immature...dont get me wrong... i love the art school hangout feel of the place and respect the tight community flavor...but when mods do things like change avatars and put porn links in favor of conceptart.org when you type it then it can be frusterating.
perhaps if you state your case to roundeye you will be reinstated. he is often open minded and accepting...perhaps you will get a warning...best advice is to stay out of the drama others stir up.

To be honest, at the end of the day, "th1s I5 th3 1nT3RN3tt" and nothing anyone really says or does on Eatpoo, ConceptArt, CGTalk, etc. etc. is of absolutely any importance whatsoever.
The forums are primarily about art, it's the excessive conversation and close attachement to these forums that causes these problems.

darkcult: you state that you blame israelis and palestinians the same (where i totally agree with you, and tend myself to blame my [the israeli] side first, generally).
That illustration, however, equals the jewish settlers directly to neonazis, which might be a bit different than "blaming both israelis and palestinians".
Comparing Racists with other racists should on one hand be trivial, but on the other hand comparing anything to nazis is quite a heavy issue and shouldn't be done IMHO so lightly.
In any case this could have been discussed before banning you (that image has been posted before anyway), but well :/

Never read the offending post at Eatpoo or anything, but that cartoon doesn't equate anyone to a Nazi. Seems to me it equates the Israelis with Hamas, and vice versa. Last I checked the Palestinians aren't Nazis, and neither are the Israelis.

Hmm, could be, but here is what I think when I see that picture.
I read "Arab" and "Jew", therefore I take it the focus is on those two groups. One is obviously jewish, and the other is a generic terrorist looking type. (NOT what I associate with a neonazi. When I think neonazi, I think young, stupid, wearing punk clothes, and generally not equiped with a mac-10) Since arab and Jew were already mentioned, I then label the generic terrorist as Arab. Then considering that you hear about crap out of Israel that involves Hamas every day, I take it a step further and think "Hamas militant". And the geographic proximity of the two (read: right on top of one another) makes me think even more of that connection. Not to mention that they are fighting each other bitterly, and it makes sense to me to compare two immediate rivals, instead of a grup fighting their rivals actively, vs another that hates this group, but is not highly active aqgainst them.
Just makes more sense to me, though it is fairly open to interpretation.

Just makes more sense to me, though it is fairly open to interpretation.
oh my word, what are you talking about? that's clearly a neo-nazi.
