tim burton (nightmare before xmas) color sketch

hi there

yesterday, a guy in a german forum(not art related but the only art thread in the whole forum) asked for large images of the main character of tim burton's nightmare before xmas.

i was short on time, as i wanted to continue working on my thunderdome entry but i threw together a 40-minute sketch in small wallpaper size, as the guy wanted to use it as wallpaper.

umm, i should mention: i had some absinthe when i did this. van gogh-session, so to say :D

cool pic! a mood that would be nifty as a desktop. it strays from the original character a bit , but in a good way.

i knew i kinda skewed the original concept i remembered but i didn't go mad about it, apparently.
it was a great experience for me in terms of loosening up my process.
strange... i preach that to me all day long but i finally managed to actually do it when being dizzy b/c of the absinthe.
