six legged andalusian racing beetle. treasured for the thick carapace where the brackets for the riding straps are bolted into the animal itself. er. insect, itself. high oxygen content atmosphere planet where gravity only measures .68 G's.

scumworks - Just adding a few highlights could really add more depth to your picture and make it a bit more interesting, I did a quick paint-over hope it's helpful...

I might have gone a bit overboard on the highlights but I was trying to make it clear.

Scumworks: not boring but no racer too, i like how the eye is attracted to the point of interest: the riders head. Maybe a less centered rider would be more interesting. And I'm missing the creatures legs ore hasn't he got any.
Snowbeat: Looks like a children's drawing. Is the number also your age? Nonetheless good start and keep on drawing.
Neondevil: good mimic and sense of speed. Try to work it out more. Helmets missing.
shinobitoshi: good but simple sketch, maybe you could also work on it some more.
Duszetc: Lovely sketch, i like the two heads and the front-look.
Thefrumetc: can't read the sketch very good, but at least you got a helmet.
Maoam: looks a bit stiff, the frog-like creature is nice. Daring color combination.
Tommoy: did you use motion blur?
Shinin: Looks a bit like a children's drawing but i understand its your first one using photoshop, then its just a matter of practicing. The colors look good.
Orkaboy: nice, strange design a bit to static pose.
Ability: this one moves, its funny. i think the legs that are in the back would look better if they are darker.
Sarxous: it begins with having fun:):):):) by adding two legs and making the rider a bit less stiff i think your image could improve.
Pandahunt: very nice, good colors and dynamic pose.
Stoph: my favorite on this page, humorous and nicely detailed.
Joshua Reimer: seems like you have drawn this with a mouse, the animals beak and jaw on the left side need some attention.
Psychedragon: interesting design, anatomically spoken. A pity the foot is half cut off.
Brett_Schmidt: Cool aproach on the topic, maybe i would be better if you would have drawn legs in stead of a wheel to make it a real animal.
Dark_comartist: nice colors good sense of speed.
Davicho: good contributes of you and your friend, scanners bleh.
Desviaciion: great angle, the thing is really running although it seems a bit mechanical.
TobbA: very cute sketch, those simple lines give it a sense of speed.
Thatothecrow: second favorite this six legged andalusian racing beetle, without any hotch-potch a speedy insect.
Naastika: i like the competition element in this drawing, and a racer that finally holds on to the fur of his speed climber.
Elsewhere: good rendering but i have the feeling I'm missing some parts.
Hamsta: very cute very enjoyable creature and rider, also only two legs but here it feels ok.
Lingmerth: The rider looks outstanding, for some reason i don't like the very large wings and the photoclouds very much.
Paradoxba: ingenious design, real alien feel, love the head/helmet twist.
Plamaernst: obviously a very quick sketch but with the usual quality. I think the rider is gonna be crushed in this position.
Erik Wilson: We have a winner. Simply a great design and only 1 hour of work.

Thanks for the paintover. Yes It could use some specs, its just generally way too flat value wise for an almost monochrome pic.

Its a flying racer xD. Landing gears kinda missing, true, crowd always enjoy a good crash anyway ^^.

Tommoy Not sure where 2 legs don't feel "ok" even having read the rest of the crits. I realize it's not really aimed at me, and just something that happens when you crit so many works at once :)

I'm having a hard time reading yours - at first I thought there was a Siamese twin sort of shtick.
I also thought these were some sort of flying creatures, with broken off stumps, the angle is quite extreme, and you overused the highlights, losing contrast and depth in the process.

Aside from the legs going AWOL, I like the rendering of the skin, looks like a sleek fish.

I got to do some more work on mine. i haven't decided on a light source yet, so the shadows make no sense. And I'm not digging the monster's face. It's like it's supposed to be an action scene and the creature looks like it's going to play catch.
