Cool renderings, nice contrast.

Only a little thing - the dragon's mouth reminds me a bit of a duck's... Hard to describe, maybe it doesn't look dangerous enough.

and might I add that your picture is oh so sexy ... uhm who is it? :D

Cool! I liked the other sketches aswell. The crab thing seems a bit off here and there. The foremost leg should be more vertical from that angle I think. When attaching feet to the ground it helps to do a simple box or square in perspective and then align the feet to it.

thanks guys

forge: er, no refs. eek

sabe: no, not in animation or art school. i'm an advertising major, and i taught myself to draw.

cucaracha: yeah, that. guess i faltered a bit there, still a little tentative with dark pencils. guess i need to go easy on the rendering and hammer out the forms next time. thanks for pointing it out ;)

prometheus: thanks for the tip, mechanical's really not my strength. but missing something as basic as the leg..ugh. the perspective thing, that's a really useful technique. picked it up from kchen's notes actually, but i let my concentration slip on this one. really appreciate the help.

bluepencilartist: ok!

Seriously, that dragon is badass. The crab lady looks like it might topple over but is rendered very nicely. Awesome.

I actually like how the dragon's mouth is like a duck's. It makes it unique from most common dragon designs. You should leave the mouth like it is, drop the wings, and give it webbed feet. It could be the world's first duck-dragon. Then we could make little maps that say "Here there be Duck-Dragons," or rewrite the story of the ugly duckling and have him devour all the other mean ducks in the end; and the swans too for good measure. The posibilities are surely endless.
