The hero is long dead but his personality and memories are kept in a database. From there he can be downloaded into the floating disk equipped with the holographic projector.

Anyway, it's still "today" here, so here is the Undead Hero... No one said they had to still have a body...

Just a quick pencil sketch, some nice flowing lines, a bit of a background (two layers, even, nice and transparent, if a bit monochrome), and highlights along the lineart.
