I am currently a highschool junior who has already made the descion to go to art school years ago and made the descion to live in Manhattan years before that.
I attended SVA pre-college for b&w photog. and this year anticipate to go to Pratt to brush up on my drawing, create a monster portfolio, and tweak my darkroom skills.
The thing is that I feel like I would be better suited at a school like Parsons, some reasons being that I would like to dive further into the fashion world and perhaps get more of a 'buisness' degree rather than a BFA.
My new-found interest is their Design and Management program. I have been doing hours of research over it, through the offical Parsons website and through current students on websites like Facebook...
I was wondering what others know about the program...and possible routes I could take in my senior year to be accepted into such a program.
My first love was photography. And now I am afriad that without taking more 'fashion-based' pre-college classes that could hurt my chances of being admitted. I am also worried about my 3.0 GPA...
:wtf: Anything could help
