too lazy to resize, but not too lazy to slap a sig image on every pic?

:P the notes on the sides of the political figures are a little distracting, though it's a nice exercise to draw them all. you've got a pretty good idea for drawing from observation, but nearly all your drawings are in dire need of guidelines. the individual features tend to be well rendered but the whole faces together are all lumpy and irregular, which is pretty easy to correct. before you go hog-wild into drawing the eyes, nose, or whatever, draw a simple ovoid for the head, a line through the middle to set where the eyes are, another line for the nose... all you need is to study some basic proportions. i know it sounds boring but just look at some figure drawing books (google up Andrew Loomis' "Figure Drawing for all it's worth") to get an idea of how you can set up drawings better. other than that you've got a pretty good eye for drawing, just need a lot of sharpening. all of your side profile drawings have extremely thin heads--don't go on what you think a head is shaped like, LOOK! with your eyes--heads are freaking huge. the room needed to accomodate the skull (and the hair on top of it) is more than you'd think. draw as much from observation as you can, which you can do in class. don't get discouraged.

alright, i think that's enough for now. :)

well, lol the sig had already been done, but after I remembered I should have resized I decided to screw it. How much do these books ussually cost, btw? I don't have much spare money but, I could try. Im trying to find a job locally like at vons or something so maybe then.

Thank you for your comments.

Oh and refering to the writing if you look at them in sequences it's actually funny.

I'm too lazy to click all those links :p but seriously pretty cool and sketchy. Maybe a little line clean up could work, but these are pretty loose, I like that.

the reason i said to google Andrew Loomis' 'figure drawing for all it's worth' is because the entire book is available online, because the book went out of print, somebody decided to scan it all.

pdf form, 24 megs: http://www.accad.ohio-state.edu/~cbelland/public/loomis_FIGURE_draw.pdf
